Nuanlaor Vanderhoven
I’m a Thai artist, working in Montreal city, Canada, Thailand, and Vietnam. My passion for painting began at an early age. I studied fine arts from SWU. University in Bangkok, Thailand and art of lacquer on wood, silk painting from Hanoi Fine Arts University.
My motivation as a modern art creation artist: Art of lacquer on wood and silk painting pass through the nature and the timeless influence on life, art, and culture. Communicating observations of nature and using the traditional technique and apply to be contemporary art with all living materials and minerals pigments are the key to my visual language as an artist. I moved to Canada where I became part of an artist community and promotion my new and unknown art in Canada.
I have participated in international groups and solo exhibitions in Canada and South East Asia. I would like to share image of life and all passions by creating a contemporary work with plenty of timeless, life and expression through my painting. Anyway for my art you can view, feel and touching them with your eyes of heart.
