Meditative Mind Art Series

Artist statement:
As people we are always looking forward to the good things in life. Unfortunately, society also has its ugly side. In my painting, the dove, the symbol for peace, expresses our human desire to rise-up and get away from the dark side of society. When people are caged, their wish for freedom and happiness is enormous. Since people are at the center of society, choosing to be good or bad is all up to us, individually. So with the dove, I sincerely want to express that people can find peace and tranquility by letting go of their lusts, which they often pursuit, to make their mind at ease. Simply through this act of letting go, people can bring good things to themselves
